Introduction

The National Digital Data Archive (NDDA), a professional directorate operating within the organisation of Neumann KHT is a self-organised digital content provider, supporting co-operation among institutions. Its mission is fostering the development of digital culture by providing access to the national digital data assets.

NDDA is also a service provider system performing an integrative function, facilitating accessibility and searchability of electronic content through applied standards and searcher-linker services. NDDA’s activities are based on close co-operation with data providers - and the service of the user community.

The key to the program’s succes is co-operation with the voluntarily joining partner organisations and meeting the highest standards in satisfying user demands.
In the following we present a short introduction to the process of joining the NDDA and the operative thematic NDDA search engine.
