There are hundreds of thousands of meta-data from hundreds of users in the meta-database of NDDA.
Among these there are meta-data about the digital contents of great public collections (museums, archives, libraries) just as meta-data of personal photo- and film collections, anthologies of poetry or blogs.
A search engine permitting simple and complex (field based, structured) searches is indispensable for making use of the meta-database.
