There are hundreds of thousands of meta-data from hundreds of users in the meta-database of NDDA.
Among these there are meta-data about the digital contents of great public collections (museums, archives, libraries) just as meta-data of personal photo- and film collections, anthologies of poetry or blogs.
A search engine permitting simple and complex (field based, structured) searches is indispensable for making use of the meta-database. If it is not a specific information you are looking for, but you are interested in seeing what contents are available here, we recommend the leads on the main page and the tag clouds generated from tags, authors and titles.
Browsing collections
The search result list contains more than just a link to the descriptive data, it also has a link to the collection’s datasheet. Here you can find pieces of information listed such as other collections similar to the current one, frequently used keywords, etc.
Clicking on the Collection Owner opens the owner’s profile page, where he can be contacted if he enabled this function.
