Smaller private repositories can join automatically taking a couple of simple steps, bigger- and public repositories can connect with their own servers.

After a quick registration you can easily create a catalogue for your repository using the NDDA metamanager. In this catalogue you can immediately enter data of the repository’s records or import already structured meta-data.

For data providers of cultural content, affiliation consists of the following steps:
- Register using
- Download OAI server appropriate for your server environment OAI szerver letöltése
- Install and configure the OAI server
- Upload meta-data to the OAI server
- Register the OAI using the on-line admin interface (Following this, NDDA harvests meta-data, integrating them to the NDDA search engine)
- Continuous maintenance of published meta-data
